The end of summer would not be the same without the annual Harrisburg Kipona Festival. The event was named after a Delaware Indian term meaning bright, sparkling water.
So early this morning, Chief grabbed his leash, and me the camera and headed off to see what was up a few hours prior to the event opening.
There are music stage covers along Front Street which will play a variety of music over the 3 day event
Sponsor Belco Credit Union arrived early in the Childrens Village
Anderson Audio was completing their setup under the main stage next to The Civic Center

The Kipona festival is runs several miles along Front Street between the business district and Susquehanna River
